Four methods of obtaining high temperature in enamel reactor

Enamel reactor commonly known as glass-lined reactor, because of its advantages, the price is relatively low, so in many industries, pharmaceuticals, printing and dyeing, agriculture, wine, chemical industry, such as the replacement of stainless steel, Non-ferrous metal, plastic and other chemical equipment. The equipment is made of vitreous enamel with high silicon content, which is sprayed on the inner surface of the metal tire and then fired several times at high temperature at about 1000 °C, a special product that makes glass-ceramic glazes uniformly compact on the inner surface of a metal tire, thus having chemical stability similar to that of glass and good mechanical properties of metals.

We all know that the operating temperature of the vitreous enamel reactor is high, because most chemical reactions usually need to be carried out at a certain temperature, so from a process point of view, to be able to withstand both pressure and temperature changes, it is common to summarize the following ways to obtain high temperature:

1. Water heating

When the reactor temperature requirements are not high, water heating can be used for heating. The heating system of enamel reactor has two kinds: open type and closed type. Heating system is simple, it consists of circulating pump, sink, pipe and control valve regulator, and when using high-pressure water, the reactor mechanical strength requirements, the reactor surface welded snake pipe, there is a gap between the snake tube and the kettle wall, which increases the thermal resistance and reduces the heat transfer effect.

2. Steam heating

If the enamel reactor requires heating temperature below 100 degrees Celsius, can use a atmospheric pressure of steam to heat; When the temperature is higher, high-pressure superheated steam should be used.

3. Electric heating

The resistance wire is wound on the insulation layer of the reactor body, or installed on the special insulator which is some distance away from the reactor, therefore, a small space gap is formed between the resistance wire and the reactor body.

4, other medium heating

If the process of the reaction medium requires that the enamel reactor must be operated at high temperature or when the high pressure heating system is to be avoided, other medium can be used instead of water and steam, such as mineral oil (275 °C ~ 300 °C) , diphenyl ether mixture (boiling point 258 °C) , molten salt (140 °C ~ 540 °C) , liquid lead (melting point 327 °C) .
